Grandma's Armenian Dumplings (Mantuh)
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1-2 onions minced or grated
- salt
- pepper
- Aleppo pepper
- wonton wrappers square shaped
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven at 375 F
- Mince or grate onion and mix into ground beef with seasonings
- Using a pastry brush, wet the lasagna sheets/wonton paper with water and then cut into small square-like pieces
- Add beef and create Mantuh shapes as shown in video
- Bake for about an hour or until golden brown
- Boil water in a small pot and then add dumplings to pot
- Strain dumplings
- Serve with yogurt and enjoy!
- You may freeze any leftover dumplings to enjoy later
