Grandma's Armenian Dumplings (Mantuh)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1-2 onions minced or grated
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Aleppo pepper
  • wonton wrappers square shaped

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven at 375 F
  • Mince or grate onion and mix into ground beef with seasonings
  • Using a pastry brush, wet the lasagna sheets/wonton paper with water and then cut into small square-like pieces
  • Add beef and create Mantuh shapes as shown in video
  • Bake for about an hour or until golden brown
  • Boil water in a small pot and then add dumplings to pot
  • Strain dumplings
  • Serve with yogurt and enjoy!
  • You may freeze any leftover dumplings to enjoy later
