Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 2 cups butter
  • 5 cups flour
  • 2.5-3 lbs turkish delight / lokum
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven at 350F
  • Cut the lokhum into fours and set aside
  • In a bowl, mix sour cream and butter
  • In a separate bowl, sift flour, then slowly add the flour to the sour cream and butter mixture (add ½ cup - 1 cup flour at a time and mix).
  • Continue mixing in more flour until it turns into a dough-like consistency (that said, feel free to add more or less flour than the 5 cups in these ingredients)
  • Roll out the dough into a log-like shape and then cut into about 20 pieces
  • Roll each of the 20 pieces and set aside
  • One at a time, take a piece of dough and roll it out. Then cut into fours
  • Add lokhum and walnut, then roll into cigarette like shapes and place onto a baking pan
  • Bake for about an hour
  • Once they’re finished, top them off with powdered sugar, and enjoy!
